Tacos with mushrooms and spicy dressing
Tacos is a well-known Mexican dish that is sold in this country almost at every turn. What is this snack? It's very simple. A variety of fillings are wrapped in thin tortillas, folded in half, and accompanied by a spicy tomato sauce. We suggest you try tacos with mushrooms and spicy filling.
- For mushroom tacos:
- — Mushroom mix - 400 g.;
- — Onion - 1 pc.;
- — Garlic - 2 cloves;
- — Black pepper - ½ tsp.;
- — Ground cumin - ½ tsp.;
- — Coriander - 1/3 tsp.;
- — Paprika - ½ tsp,;
- — Sugar - a pinch;
- — Soy sauce - 2 tbsp.;
- — Wheat tortillas.
- For spicy sauce:
- — Cashew - 35 g.;
- — Nemoloko rice - 100 ml.;
- — Garlic - 1 clove;
- — Green chili pepper - ½.tsp.;
- — Coriander (fresh) - 40 g.;
- — Food yeast (not bakery) - 2 tbsp.;
- — Black pepper - a pinch.;
- — Soy sauce - ½ tbsp.;
- — Lime or lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
- For salsa:
- — Cucumber - 1 pc.;
- — Tomato - 3pcs.;
- — Black pepper - a pinch;
- — Lime or lemon juice - 1 tbsp.;
- — Bell pepper, fresh chili pepper.
Method of preparation
Fry onion, garlic and mushrooms in a small amount of vegetable oil until soft.
Add soy sauce, stir and cook for another 3 minutes.
Then add all the spices to the tacos and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, so that the mushrooms are browning.
Let's make the sauce. Blend all the sauce ingredients until smooth.
Prepare the salsa by mixing chopped cucumber and tomatoes with cilantro and black pepper in a bowl, drizzle with lime juice.
Serve the tacos on a tortilla: first lay out the mushrooms, followed by salsa, pour over the sauce and season with sesame seeds and herbs. If desired, you can add pickled red onions.
